Our current garden is one half an acre, and is located on Maple Lane, just south of County Road A, right after the sand pit

14 types of produce were distributed from our garden to community members, we are constantly working on expanding our availability of different varieties

Nutrition

The goal of our program is to improve community nutrition by making fresh produce available to community members. Our rationale is that increasing access to affordable and fresh produce will increase the consumption of vegetables that essential in maintaining bodily health.

Education
​
Through out the growing season staff provide classes on gardening techniques, harvesting and storage of food items. There are also classes that provide lessons on cooking healthy with produce that has been harvested from the garden.

Distribution

Produce from our garden is distributed in the community through the Mohican Famers Market (which is held every Friday afternoon during the summer), Share the Bounty Tables, and also through the Elderly Center.
